How To Install Pavers
  1. Outline an area 6" larger than the actual finished dimensions of your patio, drive or walkway.
  2. Remove soil to a depth of 6".
  3. Spread a 2-4" layer of paver base throughout project area and tamp with a shovel or tamper.
  4. Spread an inch of paver sand over the project area. Level the sand by laying two 1" pipes parallel and dragging a 2x4 across the pipes.
  5. Shift the pipes and 2x4 as necessary to level the entire area.
  6. With barrier edge as a guide, lay pavers in the pattern of your choice.
  7. Once pavers are in place, sweep sand into cracks between pieces to lock them in place. (Do not use mortar or cement.)
