Screeding
Screeding is the action of leveling sand by sliding a board
over plastic pipes
which will give you a smooth base.
Commonly used for stone landscaping
projects.
Place
two 3/4" diameter PVC (plastic) pipes parallel to each other about 3 or 4
feet apart.
Fill area with coarse sand. Pull the board toward yourself leaving a level
surface.
Remove
the pipes and fill their grooves.
